The cap attaches to the base via a bayonet fitting and O-ring seal, with a grub screw to secure it. O-ring seals protect all external connections. The sounder operates with a 2-wire connection, and a third wire can activate an additional tone. There are 32 tone combinations, chosen using an internal DIP switch, with the maximum volume adjustable via an internal preset. The device can operate in light-only or light+sound modes.
